Jennifer studied dentistry as a graduate student, after achieving a first-class honours degree in Biomedical Science. She graduated in 2012 from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, having won prizes for academic achievement and sitting the London Gold Medal Examination.
Subsequently, she worked in practice in London, followed by three years as a house officer in hospital roles in Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
Jennifer commenced her five-year specialty training in Restorative Dentistry in 2016 at the Royal London Dental Hospital. During her training she gained a wide range of clinical experience across the dental specialties of Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Endodontics, in addition to multidisciplinary management of patients. She has published in multiple peer reviewed journals, carried out research in the field of periodontology and presented nationally and internationally. She passed her Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination and her Membership in Periodontics Examination in 2021 and is registered on the GDC specialty lists as a specialist in both Restorative Dentistry and Periodontics.
Jennifer is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at University College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where she treats patients requiring complex restorative rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care. Her focus is on the management of patients who have had head and neck cancer, dentoalveolar trauma and developmental problems including hypodontia and cleft lip and palate. She also runs consultant clinics, where she uses her experience in diagnostics and treatment planning for patients referred from general dental practice and other hospital departments. She is involved in training postgraduate dentists as an educational supervisor and a clinical supervisor and is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Jennifer joined The Restorative Dental Practice in 2022. Her clinical areas of interest are in periodontics and prosthodontics. This includes surgical periodontal intervention, the management of periodontitis, and fixed, removable, and implant rehabilitation.
